Actually not for cosplay (never cosplayed in my life), it's my halloweencostume. Some kind of homage-attempt for the upcoming game Bioshock 2

Hey Klay! Thank you for your comment, actually it is a real costume :) I like your idea with the floating sofa, gotta try that out some day. Perhaps I'll also try to include some more of the basket, the pink ribbons just shows slightly behing the tank :/ But then again its hard to run back n forth to a camera with a light in your eyes, so yes i didnt see that much.

Thanks Arcanum!

Woah, this is great! And the tones and colors really give it that underwater, Bioshock feel.

You're trying to tell us that that is a photo of -you-, IN A COSTUME, you made?!

My first reaction was "Wow that's an impressive bit of digital art!"

Then I read the description and thought ...naaaaa,...maybe?

THen I read the comments and I'm still "Can't be a real costume!"

But I really shouldn't be suprised..this IS Deviant Art after all.
So I am majorly impressed!
And the 'underwater' lighting effect is perfect!
(Maybe take the pic again but have the couch 'floating' a little this time?)
; )

You look at it once, you get the impression that you're standing in a flooded room.
You look at it again and you get the impression that you're standing in a dry room with a glass roof and you're under the ocean.

Either way, the effects work, the costume is fantastic, and you are going to be SO kick-butt at the next Con!!

Is it difficult to see out of that helmet with the red light?

Thank you all! The helmet is a stripped old earth globe, bottom of a cookie jar, pill jars and much more. It was horrible to make the holes since it is a thin plastic material that easily cracked.
